Existing entrance to a cottage - waiting to receive a porch design... click here to link to works proposals page		Modelled entirely in Allplan FT and rendered in Maxon Cinema 4D XL v7.3 with no additional lighting. This version has Radiosity turned ON which increased the render time from 24 seconds to 1 hour and 56 minutes!! - and that was on a dual processor machine with a Wildcat graphics board. Double these times for a single processor machine. That said, at this size you can see the little reflections and edges that Radiosity adds to the scene - you can also see the misalignment of the stone textures where walls meet..
...in Allplan this does not happen as the textures have a common origin throughout the model (see below)...
	Rendered in Allplan using Raytrace The circled areas show how in Allplan because the same texture file is applied to walls on both faces of a corner, the texture wraps correctly round the corner. In Cinema 4D the texture system is different and you have control of the surface of every object. Unfortunately this means that you may need to 'tweak' textures to ensure continuity around wall corners or to have the roof slates run down the pitch rather than across it! It is the only problem I have come across so far in transferring models out of Allplan and into C4D.	click here to link to works proposals page
